The Solidarity Taxi is an effort to cooperate with health and auxiliary personnel in their fight against the Coronavirus crisis.
An initiative that joins that of other cities and provinces and that, in Barcelona, makes available to all its staff both Call-Center, as the administrative and computer Radio Taxi 033, with the collaboration of Fundación del Taxi.

Although I am answering you personally, and not as a team (I guess the organizers will have already contacted you), I am sure I can say on behalf of all our team, that we are very, very grateful to you (and much more!)
You have had a precious detail with all the hospital staff at a time when I am sure that most of us felt bad for not being able to do much more than clap for a few minutes on the balcony. So the applause, and a very long one, is for all of you. It was not a grain of sand, but a mountain. Thank you very much!
I am sure that you will continue to give a good service in the other projects you have, and that many more people will be grateful to you...I wish it were not necessary, but I have no doubt that your solidarity will still be very much appreciated in some environments!!!

I would like to share with you some poems that I have written during this unprecedented period, with the conviction that they reflect the feelings and unanimous gratitude of the entire population, sensitized by the unwavering struggle that HEALTH and other organizations are exercising during this critical situation that we are living. And how can we not thank the TAXI'S GREMIO for their example of solidarity with the health workers, by providing them with free transportation in recognition of their invaluable work.

From Radio Taxi 033, the largest Taxi station in Barcelona, we have made available to health and auxiliary services personnel, an exclusive phone number to offer you free door to door cab service to help you and do our bit in the fight against COVID-19.
That is why we have solidarity cab drivers from Barcelona that through our fleet management platform and solidarity call center, want to offer their services through this free service and contribute our bit.
Either immediately or by reservation, call us at 934452265 and our team of solidarity cab drivers will come as soon as possible.
BECAUSE EVERY PERSON COUNTS IN THIS FIGHT, THE BARCELONA TAXI IS WITH YOU TO WIN THIS BATTLE.

Given the current situation, from 033, we cannot remain on the sidelines of the needs of health personnel in these difficult times.
We believe that now is the time, as in many others we have already done, to get together as many of us as we can and be in solidarity with the cause and collaborate and contribute our grain of sand.
The health professionals, as well as the support staff(administrative, cleaners, etc...), are working and giving 110% to help us all. We believe that we can help them with their door-to-door transportation needs to minimize their travel time in safe conditions (every second counts) and avoid the risk of contagion in public transportation (buses, subway).
It is for this reason that, from 033, we provide healthcare professionals with a special and exclusive telephone number so that they can contact our Call Center and manage their transfers as quickly as possible, with a Solidarity Taxi to help them in their work. Either from their home, or from the patient's home, to the health center and vice versa. They deserve our help and solidarity. We believe that this is the way to bring them our warmth, to let them know that they are not alone and to help them in the insane shifts, whether it is to gain minutes of rest or work, it is worthwhile that we are there to make them lighter the trance they are going through and be part of the solution.
THEY ARE GIVING THEIR ALL FOR US. IT'S TIME TO GIVE THEM BACK A LITTLE BIT OF OUR GRATITUDE.
To the cab drivers, we put at your disposal without any commitment beyond your solidarity with the health personnel, all our assets to this solidarity initiative, including an application to coordinate the services, as well as our team of operators and company staff free of charge.
